Scope of an IT security audit

We agree the systems, authorised access and testing boundaries before work begins. Scope may cover Linux and Windows servers, network configuration, administrative access, updates, backups and logging. Intrusive testing requires explicit project authorisation.

Deliverables and remediation checks

  • Inventory of assessed systems and assessment limitations.
  • Evidence-backed findings, impact and remediation priorities.
  • Technical recommendations and an action plan discussed with your team.
  • Verification of implemented measures when included in the engagement.

The report describes observations at the assessment date. It does not guarantee discovery of every vulnerability or automatically certify legal compliance.

What we need for a quotation

Tell us what your organisation does, the approximate number of systems and sites, the technologies involved, the purpose of the assessment and any deadlines. We agree scope and deliverables before requesting access to the infrastructure.
